Royal gamelan from East Coast Peninsular Malaysia. The "Burung Garuh" (Garuh bird) dances well. Every move it makes exudes joy and serenity. This scene is derived from the story of Prophet Ibrahim and His followers whom with the help of the birds, received guiding light to the path of Allah.

INDONESIA (JAVA): IDIOPHONE
Angklung. "Recak."  This ensemble is composed of nine "angklung" which supply the melodic decoration for the principle melodic instrument, the "serunai." Serunai is a oboe-shaped aerophone instrument with six holes.

"Ceurik Rahwana." This sing describes the moment when Rahwana, defeated by Rama's supernatural weapon, finds himself between life and death. Death the weigh of regret, I regret I was drawn to an illusion. I was ensnared by temptation, I was enchanted by Sintawati, oh my love, by Sintawati. I pay the penalty now.
